The Team

Neil founded the practice in 2012 specialising in custom residential design. He has a long-held passion for sustainability and environmentally sensitive design. In addition to his architectural education, Neil has undertaken specialist training and qualifications in sustainable design & project management, both key drivers for the practice’s work.

During his career he has worked on a wide range of architectural projects, including private homes, residential developments, museums, galleries, libraries and universities. In parallel with his work in architectural practice, Neil has held various roles in architectural education, as a tutor, design critic, and examiner. He has worked at Oxford Brookes University, University of Westminster, and Cardiff University, and across different areas of architectural education including design, technology, communication, and professional studies. He is also a trustee of a local school with particular focus on their Grade 2 Listed premises.

Peter studied architecture at Central Saint Martins, the Oxford School of Architecture, and the London School of Architecture. He has a specific interest in the lifecycle of building materials, and likes to promote reuse of historic materials where possible, reducing cost and embodied energy associated with new materials. Peter has developed a sustainable checklist tool to allow clients to improve the sustainability and efficiency of their projects. On a recent refurbishment project that Peter worked on, an air source heat pump has been combined with a new insulated lining to dramatically reduce the energy consumption of the property. He is also a keen advocate of planting and natural light to improve the qualities of a space.

Abi studied architecture at UWE, with a particular interest in sustainability, design for residential and community projects. She has spent time in The Gambia designing and building a food kiosk made from upcycled materials, and has also spent time designing and building an installation at The Eden Project in Cornwall to raise awareness about the English Honeybee. Abi continues to champion environmentally friendly design within the practice, and enjoys finding appropriate solutions for each of the projects on which she works.

Felix has a keen interest in making and has worked with the practice on a number of live and self-build projects. He is also a keen horticulturalist, and loves to integrate garden and landscape concepts within building design. Recently, Felix has led a number of large residential projects in Oxfordshire, working across all stages from concept to completion. He enjoys working closely with building contractors to achieve the best possible results for his clients. Felix completed his studies in Architecture at the Royal College of Art and Oxford Brookes University.

Alex studied Architecture at the University of Liverpool, where she developed an interest in adaptive reuse in historic contexts, balancing sustainable development with heritage value. She is also drawn to the use of modern materials alongside traditional, exploring how these can be tied together to create a new narrative. She believes in the importance of buildings engaging with the surrounding landscapes, and was nominated for the Lionel Stirgess Architecture and Landscape Design Award 2025. Whilst in Liverpool, Alex also utilised her skills in branding and graphics, working with the Liverpool Foxes to design their brand image, uniform and merchandise.

David has a range of experience with historic properties, delivering Listed residential, cultural, collegiate and ecclesiastical buildings from concept to completion. He is particularly interested in how our built heritage can be adapted for the challenges of the 21st Century, while suiting contemporary living. He has worked on refurbishment, extension and new-build domestic projects at a variety of scales in London, Cambridge and the home counties. He studied at the University of Kent and the University of Cambridge.

Holly has a background in marketing in the creative sector and has worked with artists, galleries and museums on their social media, websites and marketing strategies. She co-founded a public art initiative in lockdown, collaborating with Alexandra Palace in North London, and the project was featured in The Guardian and TimeOut. She studied French and Italian at University College London, followed by a Masters in History of Art at Birkbeck. Holly’s appreciation for the arts extends to architecture and she is particularly interested in ways to make architectural design accessible to a broader audience through content that is tangible and relatable.
