Framed Kitchen, Worcester Park

A wrap-around kitchen extension, garage conversion and remodelling of the Ground Floor of a semi-detached mid C20th house.

A steel frame was used to allow some load bearing walls of the existing property to be removed, and was exposed internally within the space.

An asymmetric double pitched roof was developed to relate the form of the extension to that of the existing house, and to provide generous internal volume without undue height adjacent to neighbouring properties.
